What a wonderful reframe. Because "what's the meaning of life" is probably a question that people ask for their own life. You know, what's the purpose of me being here for me. Asking “How has my life had meaning for others?” shifts the whole thinking process toward "others", toward serving our fellow human beings. And this, for me, is a much more powerful paradigm to come from.

I truly appreciate this short mp3 as well as the way you have been participating in the field of NLP and personal development.

I found this mp3 so profound and it so enormously helpful with picturing all those meaningful folks. It seems to be so simple and so powerful in the same time.

Bless you,
Wojtek Sikorski, Poland

Thanks for the audio, steve...

Well, I think the question is very deep, however looking for the meaning of life is very hard to answer. But for me, reach my goal is the first majority

Hi Steve,

An interesting take on the question.

However, another question I would ask is: "If you are the only person in the forest, does your life hold any meaning?"

It seems that "meaning" - according to your outlook - relates to "others" who perceive your life and relate to you, without acknowledging what YOUR life means to YOU, regardless of how it relates or influences others.

Of course, it's only natural that people make an appearance in the answer to that question, but I would disagree with having people's opinions as the sole criterion for meaning. My life has meaning for me, even if there's no one around for me to interact with.
