Steve Andreas demonstrates using the “compulsion blowout” method developed by Richard Bandler to resolve a woman’s long-term compulsion to hoard things. This demonstration is particularly interesting because the stimulus for hoarding was tactile, rather than visual.
Since the compulsion to hoard is often a consequence of significant personal losses, Steve follows this by guiding the client through the Resolving Grief process developed by Steve and Connirae. Recorded at the Milton Erickson Brief Therapy Conference in 1996. 57-minute DVD, $59.00.

The compulsion blowout method is taught in detail in Change Your Mind-and Keep the Change, ch. 5, and the Resolving Grief process is taught in Heart of the Mind, ch.11.

21|May|2010 1Now that’s a demonstration of mastery with a difference
the difference being for me is that it inspires us to get to that level and beyond.
So many others try to show “how good am I”
